Our Mission

The Adegboye James Adebayo (AJA) Foundation is dedicated to empowering Nigerian youths by funding exam fees for the West African Senior School Certificate (WASSCE); the Nigerian Examinations Council (NECO) and scholarships to Nigeria College of Education (NCE); Polytechnic; and University (PUBLIC SECONDARY SCHOOLS, PULIC COLLEGES, and PUBLIC POLYTECHNIC and UNIVERSITY), facilitating their journey to higher education. We strive to create the most optimal learning experiences through the provision of technology and other resources that accelerate and enhance learning, ensuring every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

President and Chairman

Mr. Adegboye James Adebayo, BS., MBA.; President & Chairman Henrico, Virginia, USA.

Prince Adegboye James Adebayo is the Founder, President, and Chairman of Adegboye James Adebayo Foundation (A.J.A. Foundation).

Education: Saint Peter’s School A, Isona, Ilesa; Atakumosa High School, Oshu, Ilesa; Arkansas State University, Jonesboro, Arkansas, USA; Hampton University, Hampton, Virginia, USA.

The son of King Bepo-Aromolaran Royal Family of Owa Obokun of ljesaland; Prince Adegboye James Adebayo is the Founder, President, and Chairman of Adegboye James Adebayo Foundation (A.J.A. Foundation). A seasoned professional with over 40 years of experience in managing both public and private projects, including serving and working in a critical role for the US Federal and Commonwealth of Virginia, Governments. A seasoned Consultant and Community Volunteer whose areas of specialization include construction management, architectural design, project management, community development, and international business. He is proficient in fundraising with great ability to foster cooperation and achieve common goals.

Engr. Johnson Olugbenga Obafisoye, BSc. Hons (Electrical/Electronic Engineering); Abuja, FCT, Nigeria.

Education: St. Peter’s Anglican Primary School, Ile-Ife, Nigeria; St. John’s Grammar School, Ile-Ife, Nigeria; University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Nigeria.

Engr. Johnson Olugbenga Obafisoye started his professional career as a teacher at C & S Secondary Modern School, Ipetumodu, Osun State, Nigeria, from where he joined Nigeria Power Holding Company, as the Principal Manager (PC&M) for Nigeria Capital Territory (FCT). He established the PC&M Department in Abuja. After retirement from PHCN, Engr. Obafisoye founded GOBAF Engineering Company. He led GOBAF’s collaboration with Mercados on various World Bank projects that focused on power utility performance contracts in Nigeria. He also served on the Federal Ministry of Environment’s EIA Review Panel; and has worked with the Taleveras Group on significant power projects in Nigeria. He is a National Consultant for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). His company, GOBAF partners with Mercados Company on a World Bank project that focused on power utility performance contracts. He also served on the Nigeria Federal Ministry of Environment’s EIA Review Panel and worked with the Taleveras Group on significant power projects. Engr. Obafisoye is active in various socio-cultural groups and professional associations, including and as an active member of NSE, COREN, NIEE, NIPE, and IEEE.

Mr. Emmanuel Aderibigbe Aromolaran, B.Sc. (UniLag); Higher Diploma (Watford, UK.) Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria

Education: Saint Peter’s School A, Isona, Ilesa; Methodist High School, Ilesa; University of Lagos, Nigeria; Watford College, UK.

The son of King Bepo-Aromolaran Royal Family of Owa Obokun of ljesaland, Prince Aderibigbe’s professional career is marked by significant contributions to the printing industry of Nigeria. He worked for International Cards (Big) Ltd and later founded Royal Cards (Big) Ltd. He was the Executive Director overseeing Production, Administration, and Marketing. Since retirement, Prince Aderibigbe has immersed himself in community service within and outside his community and his church.

Mrs. Aduke Omobonike Olatidoye,
Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria.
Certificate in Dental Nursing Assistant (Lagos University Teaching Hospital); General Nursing Training (Lagos University Teaching Hospital); Registered Nurse by the Nursing Council of Nigeria; Registered Midwife by the Midwives Board of Nigeria; Registered Public Health Nurse by the West African Board of Public Health Council; Certificate in Family Planning, Youth-Friendly Health Services, and Post-Abortion; Care.

Education: Otapete Methodist Primary School in Ilesa; Atakumosa High School, Oshu, Ilesa; Lagos University Teaching Hospital; Lagos State School of Midwifery; Lagos State School of Public Health Nursing.

Mrs. Aduke Omobonike Olatidoye hails from The Alaadorin compound in Osogbo. A proud native of Oshogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. In January After high school, Mrs. Olatidoye trained as a Dental Nurse at Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Nigeria, earning a Diploma Certificate in Dental Nursing. She worked at LUTH before pursuing general nursing training at the same institution. By 1977, she was registered by the Nursing Council of Nigeria and served as a Registered Nurse at LUTH until 1979 when she again pursued midwifery training at Lagos State School of Midwifery, obtaining her license from the Midwives Board of Nigeria in September 1980. She joined the Local Government Service Commission in Lagos in July 1981 as a Staff Nurse/Midwife, until 1986, to expand her knowledge in the health profession. She attended Lagos State School of Public Health Nursing and became a registered Public Health Nurse in 1988.

In 1999, she completed a Community Health Officer course at Ogun State Ministry of Health School of Health Technology, Ilese, Ogun State, Nigeria. Throughout her career, Mrs. Olatidoye served in various health sectors in both rural and urban areas of Nigeria until 2006. She also received in-service training in Family Planning, Youth-Friendly Health Services, and Post-Abortion Care. Mrs. Olatidoye remains actively involved in her community, including serving as Secretary of her Community Development Association.

Mr. Isaac Mabayoje Ajelabi, B.Sc. (Hons.), CNA, ACIT, MNIM Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria

Education: Otapete Methodist Primary School in Ilesa; Atakumosa High School, Oshu, Ilesa; Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo; University of Ife, (now Obafemi Awolowo University), Nigeria; University of Lagos, Nigeria; Petroleum Development Institute-University of Texas (USA); Harvard University (USA); Certificate in Oil and Gas Accounting and Investment Appraisal and Management.

Mr. Isaac Mabayoje Ajelabi, a native of Ilesa, started his professional career as a Mathematics teacher at St. Andrews College, Oyo, Oyo State, Nigeria. After leaving Saint Andrews College, he joined Federal Government of Nigeria Civil Service as Federal Auditor 2. Thereafter, he transferred his service to Public Service of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation as Finance Officer 1 and retired after 29 years as Management staff. Mr. Ajelabi is a respected member of several civil and professional organizations, including his High School where he is an officer in multiple offices of the school Old Students Association, the Nigerian Institute of Management, the National Accountants of Nigeria, and The Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. In retirement, Mr. Ajelabi remains dedicated to his church activities and community service. Mr. Mabayoje Ajelabi is a generous, cheerful giver whose other people’s progress and achievements are his joy.

General Secretary

Ms. Omolade Oluseun Adebayo Mowe, Ogun State, Nigeria

Education: Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE); B.A. Ed. Second Class Honors, Upper Division.

The daughter of King Bepo-Aromolaran Royal Family of Owa Obokun of Ijesaland; Princess Omolade Oluseun Adebayo entered the education profession arena as a subject teacher and class administrator at St. Abel Grammar School, Ilesa, Osun State, Nigeria, after graduation from college. After leaving St. Abel Grammar School, she joined Hebron College, Mowe, Ogun State, Nigeria, as the Administrative Manager, Coordinator, and Vice Principal of the school. Ms. Omolade Adebayo oversees and coordinates the college educational and extracurricular activities. She supervises key committees and manages all administrative functions of the college to ensure compliance with federal and state ministry of education laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. She’s the Head of the Languages Department at the College. She’s currently pursuing her master’s degree (M.Ed.) program at Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria.
